Therapist Bios

A Local in Summit County since 2002, avid snowboarder, fly-fisher, and outdoor enthusiast, Ro’s main philosophy in massage is to provide presence through touch to open the channels of healing to offer clients a sense of their needs being met.

Graduating as a Certified Massage Therapist with over 700 hours of training since May of 2006, Ro also continues to volunteer as a TA at Healing Spirits Massage Training School in Boulder, CO where she was given the honor to teach her first class in the Spring of 2007; Intro to Polarity Therapy.

In June of 2006 Ro opened That’s The Spot where she has grown as a company and a therapist, offering quality massage for all who enjoy the mountain lifestyle.  In June 2007 Ro had the honor of volunteering her massage skills and time for the CA Aids Life Cycle, a week long bicycle race and life changing event to help raise money and awareness for the aids epidemic.

Following the path of progression Ro Irwin joined forces with Erik Ulstad.  Allowing That’s The Spot to transform into Breck Massage in November 2007.

FOLLOW YOUR BLISS AND THE REST WILL ALIGN

Erik Ulstad is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota and has lived in Breckenridge since 2003. When he’s not working with clients he enjoys Telemark and cross country skiing, climbing mountains with his dog Timber, playing soccer and enjoying mountain living in Colorado. His massage philosophy is to provide each guest a rejuvenating experience using Kinesiology, Shiatsu and assisted stretching. Erik graduated from the Golden Institute of Massage therapy, is a Watsu® provider and has more than 700 hours of training in the healing arts.

As a volunteer and board member for the High Country Soccer Association, Erik assists in coaching, referee training, and fundraising for the local non-profit. In the spring and summer he can be found refereeing youth and adult soccer matches in Colorado as well as umpiring little league baseball. “It’s important to give back to a community that provides such a vibrant lifestyle. It’s what makes the mountain community thrive”.

During the spring, summer and fall of 2006 Erik helped build and run a large scale traditional Spa but decided that a small business approach would give him the time and energy he needed for his clients. Working long hours and not having quality interaction with each guest was less appealing than a business that allows the client to come first. In November of 2007 Ro and Erik formed Breck Massage and are currently working in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado.
